In the spectacular, musical family show ‘Santa Claus is coming to Town’, Frank Lammers plays the role of Santa in a cheerful, heart-warming ode to Christmas. On a large stage in the Ziggo Dome, Santa can be seen together with the Christmas Elf, a colorful procession of guest artists and the Noordpool Orchestra in a dazzling performance full of Christmas film music, old and new Christmas classics. A grand musical event, with humor, fake snow and many references to current events, for all ages.
Story
After a busy day of delivering presents, Santa longs for some peace and quiet in his temporary cabin in the Amsterdam Ziggo Dome. But there is no peace and quiet. The Elf keeps asking for attention. New neighbours are at the door, the Director of Kerstbal.com is constantly calling with new assignments. Relaxation seems far away. Then a worried mother knocks on the door. Her daughter is missing. Can Santa and The Elf help? And who is hiding in the singing snowman? The cheerful and musical Christmas show ‘Santa Claus is Coming to Town’ is a feast of recognition with the ultimate Christmas songs and the most beautiful Christmas movie music.

Het Noordpool Orkest. This ‘very big big band’ led by composer Reinout Douma has a core of northern musicians who have been part of the orchestra for more than ten years. In its relatively short existence, Noordpool Orkest has already reached many concert halls, theatres and festivals at home and abroad.
